Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation, recognized the Navarrese company Nucaps last Thursday with the Best ‘Startup’ Award in the second ‘Open Call for Deep Tech & Deep Science Start-ups.’ The fair, held in Málaga on February 16 and 17, brought together various players in innovation, science, and business. As part of this initiative, Nucaps participated alongside ten other companies in the ‘Open Call for Deep Tech & Deep Science Start-ups.’
The event featured an intervention by the company’s CEO, Mariano Oto. This award adds to the long list of recognitions Nucaps—dedicated to the industrial development of nanocapsules and biocapsules for bioactives and probiotics—received in 2021. The company, founded by the University of Navarra, the National Center for Food Technology and Safety (CNTA), Idifarma, and Clave, was awarded the 2021 Alimenta Navarra Innovation Award, a prize promoted by Navarra Capital together with the Navarra Agri-Food Cluster (NAGRIFOOD).
