Her research career at the Tropical Health Institute\/University of Navarra and University of Le\u00f3n has been focused on exploring new treatments for infectious pathologies, such studies <strong>have led to 26 scientific publications and over 50 contributions to both national and international conferences and she has actively contributed to 14 research projects<\/strong> in collaboration with national and international research groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has also served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology (Faculty of Medicine\/Faculty of Pharmacy) at the University of Navarra and in the Department of Health Sciences (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) at the University of Le\u00f3n. She has supervised doctoral, Master&#8217;s, and Bachelor&#8217;s students at the Faculty of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that impressive expertise in microbiology, she will now take the lead in quality management in our company with a focus on the probiotics area in which Nucaps is becoming a reference in Europe for food, nutraceutical, and cosmetic applications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy and proud to welcome Dr. Celia Fern\u00e1ndez who has joined Nucaps as Quality Manager.
